Henry Perkins Company foundry has been operating at 180 Broad Street in Bridgewater since 1848. Once the redevelopment project is fully approved for development, the foundry will wind down operations and the site will be prepared for the redevelopment. The site also included 168 Broad Street, 232 Broad Street and 240 Broad Street. Once the foundry operations have ceased, all of the buildings will be razed and the site will be prepared from construction.

There will be three new buildings at the location.
Two buildings along Broad Street will be three story mixed use buildings, with commercial/retail/restaurant space on the first floor and residential apartments on the second and third floors. One building will have 16 one- and two-bedroom units and the other will have 18 one- and two-bedroom units.
The third building on the back of the site will be a four story residential apartment building with 116 one- and two-bedroom apartments and space for common areas and a leasing office.
There will be outdoor amenities for the residents as well as open parks, walking trails, a community garden and a canoe launch along the Town River with public parking.
